A Healthy Pet Means a Happy Pet

Unfortunately, your pets are unable to tell you when they're sick. As a pet owner, you will need to rely on observation, intuition, and certain biological measures in order to determine whether your pet is healthy and happy or ill.

 

Fortunately, most pets give obvious telltale signs that literally scream in your face, "I'm sick!" You may see behavioral as well as physical changes. Your dog might start eating less and sleeping more or favoring a certain leg. Your cat may start drinking a lot of water or howling when he urinates. Whatever the signs, it's up to you to notice, or else your pet's health may worsen.

 

Once you do see these signs, document everything and contact your veterinarian as soon as possible, because you want your pet healthy. And a healthy pet is a happy pet.
